Here is a blog to discuss all things about your learning.............................
Another blog, you say! But why, Mr. Campbell? What is the purpose of me blogging? I am not good at writing and I find it awkward leaving comments and writing my opinions. Do I have to blog? I don't understand why it is part of my learning. Am I really going to learn anything important by blogging?
Blogger.com is a very user friendly tool. It is easy to format and change font size, insert images and add videos. It does not require any specific training. As long as you just want to explore the features and play around with the format, it is that easy!
I am going to try and shed some light on why blogging can be so beneficial both for students and teachers, including me!
Let's see...............why is blogging so beneficial?

I am going to try and shed some light on why blogging can be so beneficial both for students and teachers, including me!
Let's see...............why is blogging so beneficial?
- When you write on a blog, you are writing for the whole world. Anyone can comment or share or discuss the issues that you are writing about (good or bad)
- You have contact with the teacher or fellow classmates and when you comment, your identity is shown, so no chance of leaving inappropriate remarks or hiding your identity
- Blogging will build your confidence and prepare you for some of the life-skills that you may require in the future
- You can look back and see what opinions, ideas or other things you shared. It is like looking at a history of your thoughts and ideas. You will be able to see how you have changed your attitude or opinions towards anything
- You can meet other people and join other communities with the same interests as yourself. Make friends world-wide!
- If you are someone that does not like traditional pencil and paper to write, a blog gives you the chance to express yourself and just type
- You are exposed to technology and this can lead to even more exposure through collaboration to learn about new technology. Sharing is caring........
Of course, there are always some disadvantages, but we can deal with them easily. Sometimes you might see inappropriate remarks, but we can flag them and have them removed. I know it takes time to update a blog, but once you get into a routine, it will be second nature to want to blog just like keeping a diary.
Remember to always be a Digital Citizen when you are on the internet and follow the Netiquette rules at all times. If there is something you would never say in person to someone, don't say it online.
So come on! Let's start blogging and realizing our potential as global leaders on the world's stage- The Internet!
Here are some links to fellow bloggers with some technology ideas and opinions for teachers, as well as communities that you might be interested in. Have fun and happy blogging!
